Terms & Conditions
1. General
These terms and conditions apply to all services provided by James Music LTD (“I”, “me”, “my”) to clients (“you”, “your”). By engaging my services you agree to be bound by these terms.
2. Services
I offer software development, musicianship, performing, sound engineering, and audio production services. The specific scope and deliverables for any engagement will be agreed in writing before work begins.
3. Invoicing & Payment
Invoices will be issued for all agreed work. Unless otherwise stated, payment is due within 14 days of the invoice date.
Late payments may incur interest at 8% above the Bank of England base rate, in accordance with the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998.
4. Cancellation Policy
Cancellations must be made at least 2 working days before the scheduled work or session date.
If you cancel with less than 2 working days' notice, or fail to attend a scheduled session, 100% of the invoiced amount plus any agreed expenses will still be charged. Working days are Monday to Friday, excluding UK public holidays.
This policy exists to protect time that has been reserved exclusively for you and cannot be reallocated at short notice.
5. Intellectual Property
Upon full payment, all intellectual property rights in the deliverables will transfer to you, unless otherwise agreed in writing. I retain the right to use non-confidential aspects of the work in my portfolio.
6. Limitation of Liability
My total liability under any engagement shall not exceed the total fees paid for that engagement. I shall not be liable for any indirect, consequential, or incidental losses.
7. Trading Names
James Music LTD operates under the following trading names:
- Blind Drummer
All trading names are the property of James Music LTD (company number 16883787). Any services provided under a trading name are subject to these same terms and conditions. References to “James Music” in these terms include all trading names unless otherwise stated.
8. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
